Somizi Mhlongo says ‘Ocsober’ is hard

Media character Somizi Mhlongo has praised those that don’t drink alcohol and says that staying away from it is hard.

Somizi, who is recognized for having a penchant for champagne, stated that he determined to participate in Ocsober.

Ocsober is a month throughout which South Africans are requested to give up consuming as a part of a marketing campaign to lift consciousness about alcohol abuse.

The idea is easy – keep sober in October and donate what you’ll have spent on booze to charity.

Taking to Instagram, Somizi stated that he was on day 9 and struggling.

“So I’m on day 9 of Ocsober. I made a decision to go sober for the month of October, want me luck, it is hard. Yesterday I went out, no it’s hard. I had one Redbull, I had Coke, I had passionfruit, wow, the sugar,” he stated.

He praised individuals who didn’t drink.

“People who don’t drink are able to loads however anyway want me luck.”

Last month, Somizi returned to his past love – dance.

The star, who turned a family title as a celebrated choreographer, has returned to it after taking a two-year break.

The star took to social media lately to announce his return. In a video he posted on Instagram, Somizi may be seen main a gaggle of dancers in a dance studio.

“Day one in every of dance rehearsals after two years of taking a break from choreographing. It’s good to be again,” he wrote.

In a video he posted final week, he is seen choreographing a gaggle of dancers to Beyoncé’s hit single “Run the World (Girls)”.
