CHESTER, S.C. — A U.S. Army soldier has been introduced again to South Carolina from Germany to face expenses he killed his grandfather and great-grandmother 16 months in the past.
Gene Alexzander “Alex” Scott, 24, was indicted final week on two counts of homicide in Chester County, Sheriff Max Dorsey stated in a press release.
Military police in Germany took Scott into custody and he was flown again to the United States this previous weekend, Dorsey stated.
Gene Rogers, 61, and his 78-year-old mom Billie Rogers have been discovered shot to demise of their Richburg house on June 21, 2020, authorities stated.
Chester County deputies, state police, the FBI and investigators from the Army and Navy have all been investigating the killings over the previous 16 months, the sheriff stated.
Scott is on the Chester County jail awaiting a bond listening to. Court information didn’t point out if he has a lawyer.
