Everything previous is new once more.
On Thursday, Jan. 13, NBC introduced that Quantum Leap could, in reality, return, as the community has ordered a pilot for the surprising reboot. This “Oh boy”-worthy news comes nearly 30 years after the Scott Bakula-led sci-fi sequence went off the air.
For these unfamiliar with the unique present, which aired on NBC between 1989 and 1993, Quantum Leap follows physicist Dr. Sam Beckett, who’s trapped in the previous after an experiment goes mistaken. In order to get residence, he should leap between locations, individuals and time to proper the wrongs of the previous.
Intriguing, proper? However, this is not your mother and father’ Quantum Leap, as the new present’s description teased that “a new workforce has been assembled to restart the venture in the hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.” Not to say, TVLine stories that Bakula’s involvement in the venture “is to be decided.”
On the different hand, Bakula did inform the late Bob Saget in a September episode of the comic’s podcast that there have been “very important conversations” about a Quantum Leap reboot occurring.
