Maharashtra Legislative Council elections: BJP removed Pankaja Munde’s name from the list of candidates

BJP has introduced the names of 5 candidates for the elections to be held on 10 seats of Maharashtra Legislative Council on Wednesday, however former minister Pankaja Munde’s name isn’t on this list.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday released the list of candidates for the Legislative Council elections to be held in Maharashtra, together with Bihar-Uttar Pradesh. BJP has released the list of names of 5 candidates for the Legislative Council elections to be held on 10 seats in Maharashtra. The celebration has dropped the name of former minister Pankaja Munde, daughter of late BJP chief Gopinath Munde, on this list of candidates. However, there was hypothesis that Pankaja Munde might be made a candidate from the BJP for the upcoming Legislative Council elections to be held on June 20.

According to media stories, BJP has introduced the names of 5 candidates for the elections to be held on 10 seats of Maharashtra Legislative Council on Wednesday, however former minister Pankaja Munde’s name isn’t on this list. Earlier, there was hypothesis that the celebration may discipline late BJP chief Gopinath Munde’s daughter Pankaja Munde as its candidate for the June 20 Legislative Council elections.

According to a release issued by the BJP, it has named as its candidates Praveen Yashwant Darekar (at present Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council), Ram Shankar Shinde (former minister), Shrikant Bhartiya, Uma Girish Khapre (from the state girls’s wing of the BJP).
