M Night Shyamalan’s next film gets official title

Los Angeles:

Universal Pictures, which just lately partnered with the Indian-American filmmaker for ”Old”, will launch the movie on February 3, 2023, the studio introduced on Twitter on Thursday.

Shyamalan had teased followers in August about the upcoming launch, posting an image on his Twitter feed displaying off an unlabelled binder that allegedly held the script. ”The next one. On third draft. Super tight. Under a 100 pages,” he had written within the caption. ”Knock on the Cabin” takes ahead the partnership between Universal and Shyamalan. Universal partnered with him on his final 4 movies — ”Old” (2021), ”Glass” (2019), ”Split” (2017) and ”The Visit” (2015).

”Old”, a surreal supernatural drama, launched in India in September and featured Gael Garcia Bernal, Rufus Sewell, Thomasin McKenzie, Vicky Krieps and Ken Leung.

Based on the graphic novel ”Sandcastle” by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters, the movie revolves round a household that heads for a tropical trip on a seashore that they uncover online. 

Soon, they realise that they’re getting quickly older which is inflicting them to cut back their whole life in a glimpse and there is no means for them to flee this mysterious seashore.

The movie has to this point earned USD 90 million on the world field workplace.
