WOODSON TERRACE, Mo. — The FBI has opened an investigation into the arrest of a Black man in Missouri throughout which cellphone video exhibits three white officers permitting a police dog to repeatedly bite him.

Woodson Terrace police Chief Randy Halstead stated in an electronic mail to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that his division was “totally cooperating” with the investigations being performed by the FBI and the St. Louis County prosecutor’s workplace into final week’s arrest.

Federal officers and St. Louis County Prosecutor Wesley Bell declined to debate their investigations with the newspaper.

Cellphone video from an onlooker exhibits the dog biting the man’s foot as he yells out in ache. The dog’s handler holds it by a leash however permits the biting to go on for about 30 seconds.
