The bottlenecks in hiring certified labor in the construction sector have intensified in latest months, in line with a survey carried out by the CBIC (Brazilian Chamber of the Construction Industry) in February.

Almost 90% of firms say they’re having problem recruiting. In the October survey of final 12 months, they have been 77%. The downside primarily impacts small firms, says the entity.

For 82% of them, it’s tough to rent bricklayers. There can be a scarcity of construction administration professionals, reminiscent of masters and supervisors, in addition to carpenters. Barriers to recruiting engineers are decrease.
